"We need to get our staff and the players together," said Alan Millar, an individual from the WJC the board staff. "Positively it will be a fascinating cycle, however we believe that we've put a genuine decent program together that will profit the players and the staff."

In years past, that assessment would have been held at the World Junior Summer Showcase, where Canada would practice and Play match against the United States, Sweden and Finland. "Some portion of it is we talk about winning propensities, we talk about keys to progress," he said. "We will manage a few things where there will be assessments and discussing values, discussing propensities, watching video. We will have breakout bunches where the players will be managing the mentors in various subjects.
"There will be various roundtables with graduated class, past players, mentors, chiefs. Our mentors will be drawing in with our major parts in littler gatherings. ... We'll be experiencing a portion of our psychological presentation planning, we'll be doing some group building exercises, various visitor speakers. It's a full plan."

Millar said the underlying commonality should help compensate for the lost face to face time went through with the players from the arena, which he considers similarly as significant as anything that occurs on the ice.
"The one beneficial thing about our staff is that when you take a gander at the 2001 (conceived) and the 2002 (conceived) age gatherings, which will transcendently make up this World Junior group, I dealt with the Hlinka Gretzky (Cup) group in those two age bunches the most recent two years," he said. "Two years prior Andre Tourigny was the lead trainer of that Hlinka Gretzky group with the 2001s. Michael Dyck was the lead trainer of the Hlinka Gretzky group with the 2002s.
